The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority stated that the total number of foreign tourists who have visited Sri Lanka in the period up to 31 December 2022, is 719,978.
The month of December records a total of 91,961 tourist arrivals. Russia emerged as the top source market, reflecting 19,963 of total arrivals during the first 26 days followed by India with 17,350, the UK with 7,879, Australia with 5,158, and Germany with 4,984.
